Netskrafl, an online word game launched in 2015, allows people to play against each other or against computer opponents of varying skill levels. Since its inception, nearly 42,000 players have registered. The game is free to play, but those who wish to support its operation can become "Friends of Netskrafl" by contributing the equivalent of one coffee shop beverage per month.
The vocabulary used in Netskrafl is based on the Database of Modern Icelandic Inflection (DMII), maintained by the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies. And yes, according to DMII ránmorð is indeed a word!
