We at Miðeind are over the moon with the fantastic reception Málstaður has received, as the 30,000th user recently signed up for Málstaður.

We have made various changes and improvements to Málstaður in recent months, which have undoubtedly contributed to its popularity.

Among these was the addition of a sidebar to most of Málstaður's solutions, as well as the addition of plain language to the text processing in Málfríður. Málstaður as a whole got a new look and a dark mode, we simplified subscription plans and lowered the price of speech recognition, and last but not least, we made Málstaður's product functionality accessible via an API directly from a free Málstaður subscription.

There are many more exciting things in the pipeline for Málstaður this year, and we are very much looking forward, as always, to putting the latest and best language technology and AI for Icelandic into the hands of the Icelandic community in a transparent and responsible way.
